Well, we have been keeping Henry busy!
We managed to take him out all day last last weekend to the Renegade Craft Fair, the Celtic Fest and then dinner at the new Trader Vic's in downtown Chicago. He was a perfect angel. We hung out at the Renegade with his new baby friend Klein and her folks and bought many baby outfits, a poster of Brooklyn for Martin and a glow in the dark poster of sputnik for Henry. Hopefully it won't give him nightmares.

Traffic was heavy from Wicker Park to the Loop so we made it to our appointment (read: hospitality tent) at the Celtic Fest about 10 minutes after the hospitality was technically over. But never fear, the Canadian welcoming party got to meet Henry and then we headed to the flynovascotia.com tent to hear the guy who sang about United and guitars NOT sing about United and guitars. If you missed that news story, Martin is glad! We listened to his set and as darkness came over Grant Park we all decide to get some nosh. Since some of our friends lived near the new Trader Vic's we agreed that it would be a great place to go since Martin had been trying to get us there since it opened. We met up with about5 other folks for a huge dinner including beef cho-cho (We had previously enjoyed it in Scottsdale a few years back) and Henry enjoyed looking at everyone and getting a bottle to enjoy. I was amazed at how well he did on the trip and I can only hope that half of our future trips are as good as this one.

Quick rundown of other things we have done lately:
*checked out a couple of open houses in the Highland Park/Evanston areas
*attended Rosh Hashanah services (L'shana tova y'all)
*made videos of Henry making noises
*took Henry to the Post Office
*Martin made an effort and got in the pool for probably the last time this summer
