So my mother has told me not to talk about her here. Okay I guess, but it takes a lot of fun out of life not to be able to talk about her trip to Chicago with my Dad.
So instead here is a list of fun things I did with Mark and Marshall and Mark's lady Robin while they were up here the past few days:
*ate Chicago-style pizza at Lous Malnatti's
*saw the old Playboy Mansion on State Street
*rode the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier
*stood under the Bean at Millenium Park
*ate at the House of Blues
*took the water taxi with Martin
*sat in the bleachers at the Cubs game on Sunday at Wrigley
*yelled rude and funny things at a Marlins players at said game. Felt bad about it when we got home and realized the guy was probably a nice enough guy.
*watched someone dangle their feet over the edge of the train station
*went to the Art Institute
*rode the El around the Loop
*snooped around Macy's in the Loop
*visited the Chicago Cultural Center
*bought Garrett's Popcorn
*swam in the pool
*ate Italian Ice and Chicago dogs at Portillo's
*watched a lot of "King of the Hill"
All in all, I think that they had fun. I know I did!
In other news, my last day at my current job is this Friday. I then have two weeks until my new job at Harper College starts. I'm very excited!

Say only nice things about yo mama! You and your mama could take a road trip during your time off!! Isnt this a great idea?
My mom thinks that being mentioned on my web page makes her kind of famous. She loves it -- especially if I post a photo of her looking happy.
Congrats on the new job! I'm so excited for you!
You probably think you're a nice enough gal, but in all reality people should have been yelling rude things at YOU for more than a few moons.
