We attempted to travel to my beloved Pensacola this past weekend but alas, it was not to be. Thanks to another unnamed airlines, their plane's weight restrictions and stupidity of it all, we ended up going to Orlando instead. While I was quite p.o.'d not to see my parents and friends, we did end up going to EPCOT after an almost 3 year hiatus. It hasn't changed much, but it still remains my favorite theme park at WDW. We ate sushi and Moroccan yummies, mainly shwarma. We rode Mission Space and did not die and I was delighted to see that Figment had returned to the Imagination ride.
Here is a picture of us that my mother thinks does not represent our sadness of not getting to go to Pensacola:

I have a new very phlemy neighbor at work. He's supposed to be cute and appears to be sexually ambiguous, but the birth control glasses have never done it for me. So he remains annoying for now.
Last week was our departmental Holiday party. It was quite possibly the worst party I've ever attended. It was at a cigar bar/tavern and this was probably because everyone in our department who was planning the party smokes. While I don't care if they smoke, I do hate my clothes smelling like an ashtray for a week afterwards. The food was mediocre at best. Tortilla chips. Dip. Mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. I honestly expected a better venue and a better spread for all the hub-bub they kept making about it.

Hey Amy,
Sorry about the Pensacola Fiasco. Glad you made it to Epcot though! I went there this past summer. I didn't die either. Both the folks ended up at the hospital for different reasons though. That made the trip special.
Hope you and Martin are having a great Holiday season!
Next year, you do the party!! I mean, who else has more experience??? Good Food, party lites, good music, heck you can have a good party in a garage---oh, wait, did that once!! ha ha!
Happy New Year!! Time for the Rose Parade.
